Hailed for their "united sound," "flawless performances," and "ability to engage their audiences," the Vols String Quartet continues to maintain an active concert schedule bringing chamber music performances to music lovers in Italy, Canada, the Caribbean and throughout the United States.

Their mission is to bring classical music to the global community performing full recital engagements as well as educational programs to schools, workshops and youth orchestras across the U.S. In 2005 the quartet was in residence at the Robert Asp Music Festival and in 2006 held the residency at the Fargo-Moorhead Symphony Horizon Music Festival in Minnesota. They have performed for nearly thousands of students ranging from middle school to the college level and have offered master classes at each of the venues.
